In-home service offers us the comforts of staying in a known and comfortable environment. With one-to-one, you see the same specialist on each visit. They come prepared with an activity plan designed to meet my wife’s specific needs, but still flexible enough to adapt to my wife’s ever changing moods due to her Lewy Body Dementia. The bonus for me is respite time. For us, the combination of in-home therapeutic recreation and off site programs offers us a balanced approach to dementia care.
